Your Child's Information and Portal Access

Effective date: October 15, 2026

This explains how Ruvimo Learning Inc. uses your child’s information for enrolled tutoring and what changes if you choose a login for them on the Ruvimo Portal at app.ruvimo.com, including our Android and iOS apps.

Section 1 covers the children named when you give permission for tutoring. Section 2 applies only when you separately request and authorize a login for a named child. Giving permission for tutoring does not authorize a child login, and your child can receive tutoring without one.

1. Your child’s information

What we collect and why

We use this information to understand your child’s starting point, plan lessons, review their progress and keep you informed:

  • From you: details such as their name, age or age group, grade, school, learning goals and support needs. You can choose to share relevant diagnoses or accommodations. Please share only what helps us support their learning.
  • From your child: their voice and video during classes, spoken and written answers, submitted work, feedback and messages in chats they can use.
  • From tutors and our team: attendance, assessments, lesson notes, progress observations and support records.
  • When they use our services: account and device information, activity and security records. If you request a child login, we also use the contact details you authorize for it.

We also use relevant information to run accounts, provide support, review teaching quality and help keep children and our services safe.

Classes are recorded and transcribed unless Ruvimo has confirmed a different arrangement under your Family Service Agreement. Where enabled, AI tools help with transcription, summaries and service review. AI can make mistakes, so please tell us about an error that affects your child’s learning or records.

Who can use it

Relevant information is available to authorized family users, tutors and Ruvimo staff. We also use companies and contractors for online classes, storage, accounts, messaging, security, service analytics and AI-assisted support. Their access supports the activities described here. They may work outside the United States.

We use access controls and other safeguards to protect this information. We may also share it where the law allows or requires us to address safety concerns, legal requests or disputes.

We do not sell student personal information. You can agree to these service uses without agreeing to unrelated third-party sharing.

Your choices

You can ask to review or correct your child’s information, request deletion, or withdraw permission for further collection or use. Contact your representative, use the Portal, or email support@ruvimo.com. We check your authority before providing child information. Some requests may mean a feature or service cannot continue, and legal requirements may limit what we can delete.

Our Privacy Policy (www.ruvimo.com/privacy-policy), including Children’s Privacy, explains more about information handling, retention and your rights. These choices also apply to information from your child’s Portal use.

Your permission for tutoring

I am a parent or legal guardian of each child named in this authorization and have authority to give this permission. I authorize Ruvimo to collect, use and share their information for the enrolled tutoring and support described in Section 1.

This permission covers only the children named when you give it. If you enroll another child later, we will ask you again for that child. We need this permission, and any parent verification the law requires, before tutoring begins.

2. Optional Portal access

Sign-in and messages

When you request a child login, you provide an email address your child can use. You can also provide a mobile number you give them permission to use. A mobile number is not required. Our team reviews the request before enabling access.

Ruvimo stores these details and uses them for the login, sign-in codes by email or text, and emails about your child’s account and classes, including class reminders. With Full access, your child may also receive tutor lesson notes by email.

If app notifications are enabled on their device, your child may also receive notifications about their account, classes, lesson notes available at their access level and messages in chats they can use.

What your child can do

You choose their access level:

  • Basic: view their own class schedule.
  • Full: also view their attendance, sessions remaining and tutor lesson notes.

Children at either level can receive class reminders and account-access notices. These class records are for viewing. Their login does not give access to billing or another child’s records. They can also submit feedback about their tutoring.

Chat is separate from Basic or Full access. If Ruvimo staff add your child to a chat with their tutor or the support team, they can send messages there. Ruvimo stores their feedback and chat messages to provide support, review teaching and address concerns.

Changing or stopping access

You can change the access level in the Portal or ask your representative for help. You can ask Ruvimo to turn off the login at any time.

Turning off the login stops account access. It does not automatically delete lesson history, messages or other records. You can make a separate information or deletion request using the contact routes in Section 1.

Your permission for a login

I am a parent or legal guardian of the child named in this login request and have authority to make it. I authorize Ruvimo to create their login at the selected access level and to store and use the contact details I provide as described in Section 2.

This login permission covers only that child. Ruvimo keeps a record of the permissions you give and changes to access.
