Terms of Use
Effective date: October 27, 2026
1. Scope and acceptance
These Terms of Use concern Ruvimo Learning Inc. (“Ruvimo”, “we”, “us”), and our public website at www.ruvimo.com, enquiries, free trials, educational resources and parent/student-facing Ruvimo Portal at app.ruvimo.com. The Ruvimo Portal is also available through our Android and iOS apps.
They cover the relevant activities of:
- Visitors, including tutors and tutor applicants, browsing our public website or public resources.
- Leads and prospective families contacting us through our website, advertising forms, referrals or other channels.
- Free trial participants, including the arranging adult and attending Student.
- Enrolled families, including parents, guardians, payers and other authorized adults.
- Students, including minors participating with the required parent or guardian authorization, with or without their own account.
Each provision applies only to the relevant role and activity. For tutors and tutor applicants, these Terms cover public-site and public-resource use only. Tutor applications, tutor-portal access and tutor engagements are outside their scope; these Terms do not replace any separately accepted application terms or tutor contract.
These Terms form our agreement with you when you accept them, subject to the Family Service Agreement exception below. Each adult accepts for themselves and, where legally authorized, for the minor Student whose participation they arrange. Acceptance does not authorize a purchase, recurring charges or another adult’s communications or permissions.
For enrolled tutoring, your family’s accepted Ruvimo Family Service Agreement and agreed purchase details take priority. They govern payments, refunds, cancellations, session validity, enrolled-session recording, tutor-engagement restrictions, liability and disputes. These Terms do not replace that agreement or amend an existing purchase.
If you personally accepted the Family Service Agreement, that agreement governs your enrolled services and related Ruvimo Portal use; you do not need to accept these Terms separately for those activities. This exception does not extend the Family Service Agreement to earlier free trials or unrelated public-website use.
Ruvimo may engage other companies, tutors and service providers, including those located outside the United States, without changing your contracting party. Third-party platforms have their own terms for your use of those platforms.
2. Family accounts, adults and children
Use accurate information and individual logins. Protect your sign-in codes, and report suspected unauthorized access. An adult account holder who has not personally accepted the Family Service Agreement must accept these Terms for their own Portal access, unless they have already accepted the applicable Terms. Doing so does not itself make them responsible for family payments.
A parent or legal guardian must authorize a minor Student’s free trial participation, tutoring and account access. Required child-data notices, parental verification and consent must precede the relevant collection or use, not merely account creation. We may request confirmation of age, identity or authority.
Being the payer or main contact does not itself establish legal guardianship. Each adult may act only within their authorized access. A Student account does not authorize purchases or changes to another person’s permissions.
Provide age-appropriate supervision and help children follow our safety rules. This does not require an adult to attend every class. Contact us if a child has provided information or accessed services without the necessary authorization.
3. Appropriate use
Use our website, Portal and services lawfully and respectfully. Do not:
- Harass others, disrupt sessions or share unlawful or child-inappropriate content.
- Impersonate someone, misuse an account or submit deliberately false information.
- Harvest contact details, send unsolicited solicitations through our services or extract information without authorization.
- Upload malicious software, seek unauthorized access or bypass security or payment controls.
- Use tutoring for impersonation, completing assessments on a Student’s behalf or other academic dishonesty.
These restrictions do not prevent permitted downloads, accessibility tools or uses protected by law. Keep tutoring and service coordination on Ruvimo’s approved channels. Report safety concerns or inappropriate contact using the contact options below.
4. Enquiries and free trials
An enquiry or free trial does not enrol your family in paid tutoring or authorize charges. We provide educational support but do not guarantee a particular grade, test score or admission outcome.
Free trial tutor arrangements: An adult who accepts these Terms must not use a Ruvimo tutor introduction to arrange or pay for that Student’s tutoring outside Ruvimo, directly or through another person, without our written approval. This applies during free trial arrangements and delivery. For a tutor who actually teaches the Student in a free trial, it continues for 12 months after their last free trial together.
Pre-existing independent tutoring relationships are excluded. If the family enrols, the Family Service Agreement governs instead; the periods do not stack. This restriction applies only as permitted by law and imposes no automatic penalty or charge. Ruvimo’s service support does not cover independently arranged tutoring.
Free trials are recorded and transcribed, subject to the required pre-session notices and permissions. Contact us before the session about recording concerns. A later enrolment agreement does not retrospectively supply permission for an earlier free trial or collection of information.
5. Materials and intellectual property
Ruvimo and other rights holders retain ownership of their website, platform and teaching materials. Public resources may be used for their intended informational purposes. Learning materials are for permitted personal, non-commercial learning unless a separate license or permission allows otherwise. Do not sell, publicly redistribute or use materials beyond the applicable permission or law.
You and Students retain ownership of original work. Submit only material you own, are authorized to share or may otherwise lawfully use. You give Ruvimo and its service providers a limited permission to store, display and process those submissions as needed to answer your enquiry or provide the requested services, subject to applicable privacy disclosures and required child-data permissions.
If you believe material used or shared through Ruvimo infringes someone’s rights, contact us with details identifying the material and concern. We may restrict or remove material while reviewing a complaint or addressing infringement. These Terms do not require families to verify the permissions for materials supplied by Ruvimo or its tutors.
6. Privacy and communications
Our Privacy Policy (www.ruvimo.com/privacy-policy) explains our information handling, including cookies and similar tracking technologies, and privacy rights. Accepting these Terms does not by itself provide consent to optional tracking. Additional child-specific notices and permissions apply where required. For enrolled services, the Family Service Agreement also addresses recording, transcription, international access and AI-assisted processing.
We use contact details for enquiries, free trials, customer care and enrolled-service communications, and for marketing where the required permission has been obtained. Your communication choices apply to the relevant recipient, contact details, channel and purpose.
Valid permissions already given to Ruvimo continue within their original scope unless withdrawn or additional permission is required. Becoming an enrolled customer does not, by itself, require giving the same permission again. Acceptance of these Terms does not override an opt-out or supply another adult’s consent.
Text messages: We may send verification codes you request. Enquiry and free trial texts, for those who opt in, cover booking confirmations, session reminders, changes to a booking and follow-ups about an enquiry. Optional enrolled-service texts cover class reminders, schedule changes, account updates and lesson notifications for recipients who opt in to that programme.
Marketing texts require a separate, valid marketing opt-in, including express written consent where required. Accepting these Terms or choosing service texts does not provide that permission. Valid earlier marketing permissions may continue within their original scope. Marketing consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply.
You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any text from us. You may receive one final message confirming your opt-out. Reply START to opt back in. For help, reply HELP or email support@ruvimo.com.
You may change communication preferences, withdraw consent or request help through your representative, the Ruvimo Portal or support@ruvimo.com. We honor other available or legally recognized withdrawal methods too.
Carriers are not liable for any delayed or undelivered messages. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Service providers may process it on our behalf to operate our messaging services.
7. Availability, access and liability
We may update website or app features and restrict access for misuse, fraud, safety concerns, material breaches or legal requirements. We may also decline or end a free trial. Enrolled services and any resulting refunds remain governed by the Family Service Agreement.
We aim to keep information accurate but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free content. Independent websites we link to have their own terms and privacy practices. This does not remove our responsibilities for providers delivering our services.
For enrolled tutoring, the Family Service Agreement’s liability provisions apply. For claims arising solely from public website or other online-feature use outside that agreement, Ruvimo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, to the extent permitted by law.
These limits do not exclude fraud, willful misconduct, expressly owed refunds or liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
You may request account closure or copies of your service records through the contact options below. Closing an account and stopping future payments are different actions; follow the Family Service Agreement or contact your representative for help. Relevant obligations continue within their stated limits after access ends.
8. Updates, governing law and contact
We may update these Terms and will publish the revised version and effective date. We will notify you of material changes by email where we have your address and on our website or Portal, providing advance notice and obtaining renewed acceptance where required by law or an existing agreement. Updates do not retrospectively change accrued rights or existing purchase terms.
Texas law governs, subject to applicable federal law and mandatory protections where you reside. Disputes under these Terms will be brought in competent state or federal courts in Texas, subject to any mandatory right to bring proceedings elsewhere. Enrolled-service disputes remain governed by the Family Service Agreement.
If a provision is unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. Delayed enforcement does not waive a term. Ruvimo may transfer these Terms with a lawful business transfer or reorganization, subject to applicable law and continuing privacy obligations.
For questions, safety concerns, account help or material-rights complaints, contact your representative, use the Ruvimo Portal or email support@ruvimo.com. A Portal account or representative is not required to contact us. You may contact emergency services, regulators or other competent authorities without first using our internal process.
