Why Angelu tutors
I love tutoring because I enjoy seeing students become more confident in mathematics. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is seeing a student finally understand a concept that was difficult for them before.
Tutoring also gives me the opportunity to work closely with students and focus on their individual needs. Every student learns differently, and I enjoy finding ways to explain a lesson that makes sense to them. Knowing that I can help a student improve, gain confidence, and reach their goals is what keeps me motivated to teach.

One achievement I am proud of is helping students who initially struggled with math become more confident and independent learners. Some of my students started with difficulty in basic skills, problem-solving, and Algebra concepts. Through regular practice, step-by-step explanations, and lessons adjusted to their learning pace, they were able to improve their understanding and perform better in class.
What makes me most proud is seeing students move from saying, “I’m not good at math,” to being able to solve problems on their own and explain how they arrived at their answers. For me, that growth in confidence and understanding is just as important as improving their grades.
