About Anna

I taught English, ESL, and IELTS to students of different ages and levels. I used interactive activities and lessons suited to their needs, and gave feedback using the sandwich method starting with something positive, giving an area for improvement, and ending with encouragement. As a result, my students improved their English skills, confidence, and communication.

Why Anna tutors

Tutoring allows me to give my full attention to each student and really understand their needs, strengths, and challenges. I can adjust my teaching style and activities based on how they learn best and give them feedback that helps them improve without making them feel discouraged. What I enjoy most is seeing their progress, even in small steps. Seeing a student become more confident, speak more comfortably, or finally understand something they struggled with makes the experience meaningful for me. I believe teaching is not only about improving a student's skills but also about making them feel supported, heard, and capable. I want to make a difference by helping each student believe in their own ability to learn and grow.

A student Anna helped

I taught a 7-year-old beginner who initially knew only basic words and struggled to form sentences. At first, he mostly relied on parroting what I said. I used simple conversations, repetition, and activities that encouraged him to understand and express his own ideas. After a few months, he began speaking in sentences, sharing stories about his day, and communicating his thoughts with me. Seeing him go from simply repeating words to confidently expressing himself was one of the most rewarding parts of teaching for me.

Outside tutoring

Outside of teaching, I enjoy cooking and cleaning because they help me relax and unwind. I also love reading books, writing, and painting. But most of the time, you’ll probably find me scrolling through social media, looking for inspiration and new ideas for content creation. I really enjoy discovering creative ideas and thinking about how I can turn them into something of my own.
