About Jean

,I help students build confidence in English through personalized, practical lessons designed around their goals. I work with kids, teens, and adults, supporting learners in areas such as conversational English, academic English, English Literature, and communication skills.

My teaching style is student-centered and flexible. Instead of simply following a fixed lesson, I adjust my approach based on each student's level, learning style, and needs. Whether you want to improve your speaking skills, understand literature better, prepare for academic work, or become more confident communicating in English, I aim to make every lesson comfortable, engaging, and useful.

I also have experience supporting learners who need additional patience and encouragement, including students with dyslexia and different learning challenges. My goal is to create a learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and gradually becoming more confident English users.

Why Jean tutors

What keeps me tutoring is seeing students become more confident over time. I especially enjoy those moments when a student who was initially shy or unsure begins expressing their ideas more comfortably in English.

Every student learns differently, so I enjoy finding ways to make lessons work for the individual learner. Teaching gives me the opportunity to continuously learn as well, while helping students reach goals that are meaningful to them.

A student Jean helped

I’m proud of helping students become more confident and independent English learners. I have supported learners in improving their speaking, reading, and communication skills by adapting lessons to their individual needs. One achievement that means a lot to me is seeing students who were initially hesitant to participate gradually become more comfortable expressing their ideas and communicating in English.

Outside tutoring

Outside tutoring, I enjoy learning new things, exploring different ideas, and spending time improving my skills. I also enjoy discovering new ways to make learning more creative and engaging.

With teens and adults, I adapt lessons to their goals, interests, and level, whether they are working on conversational English, academic skills, reading, or communication. I also adjust my approach for learners with dyslexia and different learning challenges by breaking tasks into manageable steps, providing additional practice, and allowing more time when needed.
