About Nancy

I teach Mathematics to students from Grades 5 to 11, including learners following US, IB, IGCSE, GCSE, and CBSE curricula. I work with students at different learning levels and adapt each lesson to their goals, pace, and individual learning style.

When a student is stuck, I break the problem down into smaller steps and focus on understanding the concept rather than simply memorizing a method. I use interactive explanations, examples, practice questions, worksheets, and quizzes to help students build confidence and become better problem-solvers.

My goal is to make Mathematics easier to understand and less intimidating. I regularly track progress and provide feedback so students know what they are doing well and where they need more practice.

Why Nancy tutors

I started tutoring because I found that many students struggle with Mathematics not because they cannot learn it, but because a concept has not been explained in a way that makes sense to them. Working one-on-one gives me the opportunity to identify where a student is getting stuck and explain it from a different angle.

What I enjoy most is seeing that moment when a difficult concept finally clicks. That is what keeps me tutoring and motivates me to make each lesson more personalised to the student.
