About Andal

For the past 15+ years, I’ve had the privilege of helping international students navigate the worlds of Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Math. I truly believe there's no such thing as a "bad at math/science" student - just concepts that haven't been explained the right way for them yet. By tailoring every lesson to how each student naturally learns, I love helping them untangle tough topics, build real confidence, and hit their exam goals. My ultimate mission is to take the intimidation out of STEM and make these subjects clear, relatable, and honestly, a lot of fun.

I love tutoring because I believe true learning only happens when it's personal. Every student processes concepts uniquely, and one-on-one tutoring allows me to adapt to those exact needs in real time. Beyond simply raising exam scores, my goal is to empower students with the confidence to stay curious and the lifelong skills to use their education to change the world for the better.

One of my proudest moments involves a student who started school later than his peers. Terrified of falling behind, he initially struggled to grasp core math and science concepts. Through consistent encouragement and tailored support, we shifted his mindset from intimidation to curiosity. Soon, his confidence skyrocketed, and his grades jumped from a B to straight As. Watching a student transform from feeling completely discouraged to entirely empowered is exactly why I love what I do!!

Outside tutoring

Outside the classroom, I’m just as much a student as my kids. I love the challenge of being a beginner - whether I’m practicing a new language, exploring a new topic, or getting creative with arts and crafts. Staying curious keeps me energized and reminds me exactly what it feels like to learn from scratch. It’s what helps me bring genuine empathy and fresh energy to every single lesson.

Yes. Your child keeps the same tutor for as long as you want them, which is the point of the way we match. If the fit is wrong we will move you, and it costs nothing to change.
