About Zoe

I’m an English and Spanish teacher who believes learning a language should feel comfortable, useful, and enjoyable. My lessons are relaxed and conversation-focused, so you can practice speaking naturally without being afraid of making mistakes.

I work with students at different levels and adapt my lessons to their goals, interests, and learning style. Whether you want to improve your everyday English, feel more confident speaking, prepare for a trip, or simply have more natural conversations, we’ll focus on the English you actually want to use.

My goal is to help you speak more freely while gradually improving your vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and fluency along the way.

I love tutoring because I get to see students become more confident over time. One of my favorite moments is when a student realizes they can express something in English that they couldn't say before.
I also enjoy getting to know people from different backgrounds and helping them reach goals that are important to them. Every student brings something different to the lesson, which keeps teaching interesting for me too.

One achievement I’m particularly proud of is helping a student who already understood a lot of Spanish but struggled to speak naturally and spontaneously. We worked through conversations, storytelling, listening activities, and real-life travel situations. Over time, they became much more comfortable forming responses without translating everything word-for-word and were able to use Spanish more confidently in preparation for an upcoming trip.

When I'm not teaching, I enjoy creative projects, animation, making content, video games, and spending time with the people I care about. I also love movies, shows, and anything that gives me a chance to be creative or learn something new.
