About Chidimma
Hi, I'm Chidimma Vera Ezeuduji, a Chemistry and Science tutor with 8 years of teaching experience.
I hold a Master of Science (MSc) in Chemistry and a Professional Diploma in Education, and I'm a registered teacher (TRCN).
I teach KS3 Science, GCSE, IGCSE, A-Level, IB, AP and Scottish National 5 to Advanced Higher Chemistry, and I know the AQA, Edexcel, OCR, Cambridge, WJEC and CCEA specifications well.
My lessons are patient, structured and engaging. I break hard topics like the mole concept, bonding and organic chemistry into small, clear steps. I use real-life examples, visuals and past-paper practice, and I check understanding as we go, so students learn to apply ideas, not just memorise them.
I love the moment a student who once said "I'm bad at Chemistry" finally gets it.
My goal is to build that confidence and help every student reach the grade they're aiming for.
Why Chidimma tutors
I love tutoring because it lets me teach the way each student learns best. I can spot exactly where a student is stuck and fix it step by step.
What I enjoy most is watching a student's confidence grow. Many come to me feeling Chemistry is too hard, and seeing them start to answer exam questions on their own, then get the grade they worked for, is very rewarding.
Tutoring also keeps me learning, because every student asks questions that make me find new and clearer ways to explain things.
Chidimma Vera E., in their own wordsA student Chidimma helped
A GCSE Chemistry student came to me predicted a grade 3. They struggled with mole calculations and lost confidence every time they saw a calculation question. We worked step by step on the basics, then practised with past papers each week. By the final exam they were answering calculation questions on their own, and they achieved a grade 6, which let them take Chemistry at A-Level.

Outside tutoring, I'm very interested in green chemistry and sustainability, especially how everyday waste can be turned into useful, eco-friendly products.
I enjoy reading about new discoveries in science and finding simple experiments that make chemistry fun and easy to see in real life.
When I'm not working, I love spending time with my family, reading and exploring new places.
Specializations
- ADHD and attention difficultiesKeeps a session workable for a student who cannot hold focus through one.
I have worked with students who find it hard to stay focused for long periods. I keep lessons short and well-paced, breaking each topic into small chunks with frequent quick checks so the student stays engaged. I use visuals, colour-coded notes, diagrams and simple hands-on examples to make ideas stick, and I mix explanation with short practice tasks rather than long talks. I give clear step-by-step instructions, praise progress often, and allow short breaks when needed. This helps students stay on track, build confidence and get through exam questions calmly.

About sessions with Chidimma
What does Chidimma teach?
Science, Chemistry, for Grades 6 to 12. Sessions are 1-on-1 and live, and you can ask for a specific topic before the first one.
Will my child work with Chidimma every session?
Yes. Your child keeps the same tutor for as long as you want them, which is the point of the way we match. If the fit is wrong we will move you, and it costs nothing to change.
How do I book a session with Chidimma?
Book the free session on this page. We call every family before the first session to confirm the details; ask for Chidimma then and we will match you if they have room. The first session is free, there is no card, and no obligation to continue.
