Why Sarah tutors
I love tutoring because I enjoy seeing the transformation that takes place when a child moves from not knowing to knowing. There is something incredibly rewarding about helping a student understand a new concept, overcome a challenge, and gain confidence in their abilities. Seeing that confidence grow and watching a child become more willing to express themselves and take on new challenges is what makes tutoring so meaningful to me.

One of the achievements I am most proud of is helping a child who initially did not recognize the letters or sounds develop into a confident and proficient reader. I am also proud of helping another child who was initially very quiet and hesitant to speak become more confident and expressive. Seeing these children grow academically and personally reminds me why I love teaching.

Outside tutoring, I enjoy watching movies, listening to music, surfing the internet, and discovering new things. I enjoy learning about different ideas, cultures, and interesting topics, which keeps me curious and always learning.
