About Aishwarya

I am a passionate mathematics educator dedicated to helping students in grades 8 through 12 build confidence, master complex ideas, and achieve academic success. My teaching portfolio spans the entire middle and high school math spectrum from foundational courses in Algebra and Geometry to advanced topics in Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and AP Mathematics.

My goal is to make higher-level math accessible and intuitive. I focus on breaking down abstract concepts into practical, logical steps that help students develop true conceptual understanding rather than just memorizing formulas. Whether I am guiding an 8th grader through their first equations or preparing high school upperclassmen for high-stakes AP exams, I tailor my approach to meet students at their skill level and push them toward critical thinking and problem-solving excellence

Why Aishwarya tutors

I love tutoring because it combines three things I am deeply passionate about: mathematical research, real-world problem solving, and collaborative learning.

As a math enthusiast, I thrive on taking abstract concepts and showing students how they apply directly to the real world, turning intimidating equations into intuitive, practical tools. But what makes tutoring truly special to me is that it's a two-way street. While I share the insights I’ve gained through research and study, my students constantly challenge me to look at problems through new eyes. Teaching allows me to demystify complex math, build student confidence, and continuously learn from the creative ways my students think

A student Aishwarya helped

For me, teaching goes far beyond helping students memorise formulas for the next test it is about fundamentally changing how they see themselves as learners. One of my proudest moments was working with a 7th grader who initially hated math and struggled to stay focused in class. Over years of working together, we rebuilt his confidence and curiosity step-by-step; he ultimately earned a perfect score on his SAT Math section and thanked me for changing his relationship with the subject. Seeing disengaged students transform into confident, high-achieving problem solvers is precisely why I do this work.

Outside tutoring

Outside of teaching and research, I enjoy staying active on the badminton court, exploring new ideas through my passion for reading, and spending quality time catching up with close friends. Balancing intellectual curiosity with physical activity and meaningful connections keeps me energised and grounded.
