About Fardid
I traded concrete for calculus. Former engineer who used to design buildings, now I help students build strong math skills instead. I make math simple and easy to understand, with lessons that focus on clear thinking. It is more about removing the math-phobia(fear) than just talking numbers.
Why Fardid tutors
I’m probably the greatest teacher ever, at least that’s what my students would say after surviving my math jokes. I used to work as a civil engineer out in the field designing and supervising projects, but I always found real joy and peace in teaching math and now I help students build confidence.
Fardid A., in their own wordsA student Fardid helped
Mr. R joined my foundation math class as an adult learner who had struggled with math for years and lacked confidence even in basic concepts. We rebuilt everything step by step, covering topics from arithmetic to algebra and ASVAB problem-solving strategies. Instead of memorizing formulas, he learned how math actually works. Over time, his confidence grew massively, and he successfully cleared the ASVAB, something he once believed was impossible for him.

I’m a curious being who loves exploring all kinds of nerdy interests, from quizzing, chess, geography, and vexillology (the study of flags) to singing and learning random facts just for fun. I enjoy anything that challenges the brain, sparks curiosity, or leads to a great conversation.
