About Priyansh

Math doesn’t have to feel like a collection of arbitrary formulas to memorize. My goal is to make every concept intuitive, structured, and genuinely understandable so students build lasting confidence alongside higher grades.

I work with middle and high school students across Pre-Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Algebra I & II, Geometry, and introductory Functions. Rather than just drilling equations, my lessons break down why a method works before diving into how to solve it. I incorporate interactive visual tools (like GeoGebra for geometric concepts and dynamic graphing) and structured problem sets tailored directly to each student's school curriculum.

Every session is patient, engaging, and collaborative. Whether a student needs to fill foundational gaps, master an upcoming test, or get ahead of their class pace, we track tangible progress through diagnostic practice and clear, step-by-step problem solving.

One of my proudest moments was working with an 8th-grade student who was consistently scoring in the low 60s in Pre-Algebra and dealing with severe math anxiety. They struggled to connect abstract algebraic rules with problem-solving and often froze up on multi-step equations.

We shifted the approach entirely from rote formula memorization to visual models and scaffolded, step-by-step problem breakdowns. By using structured diagnostic reviews and interactive visual demonstrations, we filled core foundational gaps in fractions, negative numbers, and variable manipulation. Within two months, their confidence transformed: they raised their exam average to an A- (89%), began actively answering questions in their school class, and tackled word problems without hesitation.

When I’m not teaching, I’m an avid long-distance runner and enjoy spending time training at the gym. I also love diving into science, reading books and finding new ways to bring structured problem-solving into everyday life.
